Liz has had over 35 yrs. teaching RN students across the nursing spectrum. She started her journey in Montreal, then Edmonton, Vancouver and finally best of all Victoria for the last 20+ years. While teaching at Camosun College she became directly involved in Senior’s care both teaching nursing students and working directly with Seniors in long-term care. The memory and health challenges we face as we age takes a toll on all of us. What I did see during my time working in long-term care was how both music and art can trigger memories of happy times from our past and the joy that they brought was so good to relive.

Hence, when I was given the opportunity to participate in the Memory Café, I was so pleased as this is a journey we all can share. I look forward to interacting with you during these times.
